Val Fiott is not your typical body toning coach: Val was first certified in 1994 by both The American Council on Exercise and the ISSA. He began his college study in the exercise sciences and Human Motion Analysis that same year, giving him a unique and deep understanding of the clinical science of exercise and aging. Val was later certified as both a Weight Management Specialist, teaching him more technical strategies for burning the most stubborn fat, as well as a Health Coach, which focused on the science of preserving the body. In 2010, Val was contacted by The American Council on Exercise to serve as a Subject Matter Expert. He went on to become a certified Life Coach, further studying the psychology of building discipline and motivation in clients, and served as Corporate Physical Health Director for Michigan’s largest retirement community.
Today, Val holds a PhD in Health Science, and continues his role at The American Council on Exercise in addition to serving on multiple fitness science committees.
